TRANSITRON 1950s/60s GERMANIUM AND SILICON

ABOVE, L-to-R:  As the first item shows, Transitron stayed with the large copper stud-mounted housing but now use top-mounted wire connecting leads much like the Honeywell  "2N57" design.  The second item shows a modified simpler design aluminum housing, still stud mounted and with wire leads.  Both these items appear to have been hand assembled and painted, likely from early/mid 1954.
