This full page ad, adapted from the June 1962 Proceedings of the IRE, illustrates Motorola’s commitment to the new silicon transistor technology developed by Wilf’s organization.   As has been noted in this Oral History, Motorola soon became a worldwide semiconductor leader, beginning in the 1960s, based largely on the technological innovations demonstrated above.
